View Full Version : Cant get utorrent to work with webgui.
Can someone please help me getting webgui to work on a leaseweb win2003 server? Its no problem accessing the webgui localhost but, only when i use the alternate port 8080. When i try the port that utorrent use i can not connect.
But when i try to access webgui from another computer with firefox nothing happens, tried opera also.
I would really appreciate it if someone could give a helping hand.

did you try other ports then 8080 and the one utorrent is using ?
The only port that is open on my server is 3389, Is it possible to open ports on a leaseweb server? Maybe send them a mail and ask them to open port 8080, cause this port works with webgui when in access it local.
But why wouldent the port 3389 work with webgui?

cause 3389 is already used by remote desktop. mail the guys at leaseweb.

It will probs be because they have TCP/IP filtering enabled. So only ports 21, 80 and 3389 are open. You should have got a email saying this. Just email support and ask them to open the ports you want to allow TCP connections or just disable TCP/IP filterig. If you need any help with your server send me a PM i will be happy to help.
I also have a server from leaseweb :)
Hi mate!
sent them an email and i can open the ports i want on the server ;) so i just opened port 8080 and it works! But thanks for the help man!

did you open the ports on the windows firewall and if you have a antivirus u may have to allow that too you can change the ports to 8181 and open them also but make sure you change it on the utorrent client too
