hello
this might help some people this site updates every 10 minutes on which trackers are open for registration as long as there in there database.

Also there a great program called tracker checker 2 that wil check all the sites on its list to see if there open. Plus u can add sites to the list very easily and have them checked too. Very nice site and prog to have if ur avid downloader from games to movies...

btracs is a good site, but it has it's bugs. For example it shows that trackers like: iptorrents, stmusic, funfile are free for signup, which is false. But it does come in hand most of the times!

Cheers mate! :)

No. It shows sites that are open but require invites, due to them being open-sign up recently. I had to learn that the hard way, when i posted some of them in the sign-up section. Alwatys check first!

This thread seems to be ancient, but here goes my recent experience with open tracker checkers, hope you find it useful.

http://www.trackerchecker.org (http://www.trackerchecker.org/index.php) - good number of entries, but lacks any filtering whatsoever, which makes it practically useless. Unless you are looking for a specific tracker of course.

http://www.btracs.com/ - fewer entries, but at least they have some sort of categories. Still a mess to sort properly, they don't seem to update the list often, and the ranking points are a complete mystery :)

filesharingz.com (http://filesharingz.com/directory/open-trackers.php) - utterly underrated (poor advertising I guess)and by far the best IMO. Lots of search/sort options, individual info on each tracker (login screen too)

I also used another online tracking site, but can't find the URL now :( Think it was French - please post/review if you know of other similar services...

spot on - this is exactly the one I had in mind. Same story here though. Unless you are keeping tabs on a specific site it is useless as there's no categories or filtering by any other criteria...not even languages :(

I prefer using tracker checker
Just add the sites you want to monitor, and the program is just running in the back, so you don't have to check those websites every now and then

I remember reading somewhere on here that someone was ip banned from a tracker from using one of these programs? Is that possible?
