Clients have little/nothing to do with speeds.

Speeds are only dependent on the # of seeders/their upload bandwidth.... I am sure people using torrentflux on a server get great speeds.

40mb/s+ in both directions.
If you don't like the tornado backend, you can change that with the b4rt fork.

Client makes a difference when you go from offical BT client, with its crazy default settings to a decent client.I saw a large speed increase.

Well, clients can make a little difference when they are well configured. However, the most important thing is the Seeders/ leechers ratio on each torrent and the connection of course.

Btw, isn't torrentflux a Web Interface for a Linux Client?

Yep. The original uses a modified version of bittornado, the b4rt fork can use tornado, transmission, mainline or azureus.
