He was asking if the request thread over at FTN was closed or not, and the answer is yes, not possible at the moment to request an invite there.
But the invites that are already handed out is still available.

new invites haven't been handed for ~4 weeks. But that shouldn't mean they are closed.

the last person who have joined in FTN was 4 hours ago

so i think many(at least not that many :P) still probably have some invites after last christmas gift u ask 1 get 2

I knew something was up. Some reqs from the xmas 2 for 1 invite special are still unanswered not to mention the new thread started 1/1. Glad I didn't get left out in the cold...but I'm sure they have their reasons. :yup:

This really sucks, because i was going to request when holiday special was on, but i thought hey no rush, just request the next week. Also thread is in the pu secret forums, so obviously you wouldn't of known about/been able to access is.

Some people made me curious... and I actually like having a bit more variety in my bookmarks outside of KG and CG. Got to have my dose of mainstream cinema too once in a while.

One month ago, I didn't even know that FTN existed. I didn't know about most scene trackers cause they are not my main interest.

I was oblivious to most of the trackers existence as well until Oink shut down. Now i am aware of most of them and proud to be a member of these trackers. So i know where your coming from man.

I highely doubt that. There are requests from weeks ago which haven't been touched, and now thread is locked with words, await instructions. Maybe they are tired of dealing with all the traders and people giving invites to unknowns then complaining next day etc.

I always max out my home connection at 3 sites...scc, sct, and blackcats...barely anywhere else. :lol:

Sometimes...sometimes I see 12mb/s on hdbits.

alot of members have invites now
the problem is that the staff were very busy the last few weeks so they closed the topic to answer the current requests first then open it again for new requests.thats it

I agree, i'd say FTN and ScT are the best, though I'm not a member of any of those two :(

Plus, I think UK-T is the only level 10 tracker left.

Correct, Probably include SCC in there as good trackers.
