2 things.

1. You may be limited as to what can be changed because those PCs are of the "off-the-shelf" variety. You may have a "hard-bios". Typically they use proprietary mobos(not very user-adjustable).

2. Try removing the time/date battery on the motherboard for a minute or so. It may be password protected or something and this will reset it.

I'm sure others will have some tips...

oooh...
um...what are you trying to do the the Front-Side Bus?
I think maybe you should have someone else do it.
Or leave it alone, honestly.

the bios battery is on the mother board....it should look like a thin silver disk thats a litlle bigger than a quater (thicker too)

they're talking about clearing CMOS. just locate JP1 and move the jumper over to pin 2/3 for 5 second, then put it back on pin 1/2 . There's really no need to do this though if you can get into BIOS at all. What may be more helpfull if highlighting and pressing enter doesn't work, would be to look for a better BIOS and reflash. Just make sure you follow all precautions before you even try.

go to your motherboard homepage or the company where you bought it homepage, e.g dell, or say what baord you got.

NO, don't mess with it. That is my opinion. Dell and gateway systems cannot be overclocked. You would have to disassemble your motherboard.

Just buy a new computer. Save up your piggy bank dude.
