I heard some dude had his AMD 1.7 ghz OC'd to 4.3ghz or so.. and he has three fans cooling it.. Hahaha.. is that possible?!

i seriously doubt it. the only thing i've heard of getting to over 4Ghz and still being stable (albeit only just) started off as a 3.06Ghz or something.I know nothing about OC'ing and i'd take a guess that a 1.7Ghz couldn't get pushed much past 2.4Ghz, if even. i may be wrong though. But i'd put money on a 1.7Ghz not getting even close to 4Ghz.

No way to get that kind of overclocking with just fans.

Want to see how to cool while overclocking? Check out this article:

Read the english summary near the end.

Liquid nitrogen!

what you really want for overclocking is liquid helium

it's a little chilly at approx -269 degrees celsius though...

i actually doubt the standard computer parts would work in such a cold atmosphere as liquid helium

only supercomputers (and early quantum builds) have been used in this atmosphere

i also heard that, actually i saw it working.
three fans ARE ENOUGH to cool it, cause the guy who achieved that shit lives in a very cold country.

his name is santa claus.

:: sigh::... :( what i would give for a stable quantum computer but that wont be for a while when quantum computers will be house hold maybe 20, 30 or 40 years. :(
