There are actually so many tools to rip a cd. The easiest to use would be easy cd ripper.
Virtuosa gold is also pretty good.

The best is EAC (Exact Audio Copy) and easiest for me is Easy CD_DA Extractor. The first Is free and you should look for a good tutorial on setting it up, it will also create great lossless flac files for you. The experts say extract your cd collection to flac and save those files to disk. Then convert the flac files to mp3 to play on your mp3 player but keep the flac files as your main collection backup because you lose nothing with flac but mp3 is a lossy formate that destroys music to make smaller files.

ConvertX2DVD

Extremely easy. Just open the movie file and it converts it then burns it.

freeripmp3
or if you have nero installed, that does it too.
If it's just MP3 anything will do.

SO many to choose, but I would agree.. EAC best for mp3. Audiograbber is nice too.
Even winamp+LAME has a descent ripper now.
