As messi30 noticed new invites are closed, as for the old ones they working, and you will have no problem joining in, cause site is not full @tm, it has 70+ free spots, and 7 unconfirmed users (ppl signed in last 24 hours) just proving that.
As for message from the main page stating site is full, it's dated 2nd of January, when site was really full, hope it helps, cheers :)
