So last week I'm driving around looking for an decent place to eat lunch, and decide to do something different.
So I find this Indian(asian) place that doesn't even look open(windows are covered), and sat down for the buffet. All the while, I'm thinking I am doing a good deed, helping out a mom and pop restaurant who probably have a family to feed, who probably need the money badly.
So all is going well until I realize the buffet is $8(between 3 and 4 pounds). Plus the drink, of course. Total meal cost me almost $10. FYI, I could have spent around $3 or $4 at Wendy's and got a satisfying meal with drink. Or gone to Applebee's or Chili's for a few dollars more and got the baby back ribs or similar, in a nice restaurant setting. What a ripoff, there was only one good thing at the buffet, the rest was kinda meh. I'm not trying to come off as h4rsh towards indians but I don't see why they have to charge those prices if it's a husband and wife team they don't even have to pay themselves salary it doesn't make sense.
Well, the one good thing at the buffet, sag paneer, was great.

-the goat was meh,
-the breaded thing(i'm assuming it was maki ki roti) with the unknown red gravy was double meh
-i didn't get to try the honey glazed round globular things
-the fried onion rings were a disappointment, i can do better in my own kitchen
overall, i was expecting more but maybe it was not a good reference restaurant.
