http://filesharingtalk.com/vb3/picture.php?albumid=25&pictureid=571"Feast your eyes on the freshest high-quality leaked screenshots and video of Windows 7 Milestone 1! Windows 7 is of course the next edition of Windows, designed as a successor of Windows Vista. And since Vista was no. 6, and under Steven Sinofsky, Senior Vice President, Windows and Windows Live Engineering Group, Microsoft is no longer referencing software under development by codenames, but by product numbers, the next iteration of the operating system naturally became Windows 7. At this point in time, Microsoft is also making headway with the building of the platform's early stages."

No way M$ would loosen it's grip screen shots, or video.
They won't even make a proper comment on the new OS.

But, that doesn't stop stuff like this from popping up....
My opinion - Fake, Vista with some custom skinning in window blinds.
Really not all that impressive either.

Yeah my opinion is that stuff looks fake too...
coz it's actually the same as vista, no real change
and that particular screen looks like it's been edited with microshiot pain....

I don't get why another version of Windows would come out so soon after Vista just came out. Vista sucked too so maybe they should give up & leave XP Pro as the only Windows forever haha

This is still far from being released if it is real. If this is a real leak then this version is a pre alpha.

They're apparently fake zero-byte ISOs.

Updated. See above.

Vista sucks so bad it's understandable that they would want to rush out a new version ASAP anyway .... but this don't look like it!

All Windows 7 is, is a fixed version of Vista. Vista is so full of problems they are taking it & completely redoing it from the ground up. This may be a fake but who knows.

i still find it hard to believe that there are much more ways to prove what system you are running (right click my computer and click properties, and guess you all know the rest, ya).

so IMO is a whole fake joke( maybe its just vista updated and with the bug "fixed" *lying*. but who knows

this won't prevent it from sucking will it?.

edit: :ooookay: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_7

this has a lot to say.

i love the part that says:
"Microsoft is maintaining a policy of silence concerning discussion of plans and aspirations for Windows 7 as they focus on the release and marketing of Windows Vista, stating that Microsoft doesn't want to promise features and then fail to deliver"

ps: and i wonder what kind of monstrous-type of computer do you need to run this at a 'fair' speed.....

If this is how windows 7 will be, I think I'll stick with my XP FOREVER......

Definitely a fake. Do you think Microsoft would let something like this out prematurely? No way! It looks customized which could be done with window blinds. It's identical to vista. Windows seven? They wouldn't use a name like that. Well i hope they wouldn't.

They are.
The next version of windows will be the 7th incarnation of the operating system. I'm not sure if it will be the release name, but Windows Seven is the working name on the project.

I'm sure they won't spell seven like "Se7en" though...
