What's the best tracker for good quality, non-scene movie rips.
Not classics in particular, just general movies.

I like to archive my movie rips and prefer quality for that purpose.
Scene rips are low resolution, often low bitrate and always CDR sized.
I avoid them whenever possible and look for a higher quality rip.
On TPG there is a mention of a new tracker that may fill my needs.
For now I use a variety of other trackers for this purpose.

I'm not sure you want non-scene movies or non-scene rips (dvdrip, ts, etc..) ?
For non-scene movies: KG
For non-scene rips: HDBits, x264

HDBits
The scene is after fast early pre-release and following standards. So if you are into HD you should try HDBits. The internal/home-made releases are after picture qualities on HDBits.

x264
There are only HDTV/HDDVD/Blu-Ray 720p and above allowed on HDBits. If you want the lowers like DVDrips 576p/480p, you will find them on x264.

TopHos
There are lots of internal encoded release on TopHos. You can try it.

check out WB. Haven't been there in a bit, but I know for sure they had re-encodes and such, so non-scene rips would be allowed for sure.

I think goem has the best over all selection for movies. It is kinda slow but almost inevitably has what I am looking for :0)

Well, x264 have a great selection of movies encoded in this particular codec... which some find superior to xvid. For that, they have an interesting selection of non-scene rips.

Outside of that, there is nothing that can come close to KG... which usually nuke scene rips to replace them with superior non-scene rips. If possible, with extras from the DVD.

I don't consider you can throw HDBits in the same pack. DVDR and HDRips are not the same thing than DVD resolution rips.

Hm, not into XVID movies, but KG, iTS(just started, good potential if keeps on rollin), C-O.

Same question, but now for DVDRs non-scene. Not HD or XviD. Which site? :o

KG has a huge collection.

Up and coming: iTS, with their AFR section, you cant beat the quality especially since some AFR groups upload directly onto the site.

afr group

That afr ripper is on and off with quality of his rips, and releases his stuff on mininova....there are alot better groups for AFR...wont name them but they are out there. You can pm me for a list of quality afr groups.

ShitBusters home : http://bad-good.org/phpBB2/index.php

They make good rips and distribute on emule. They have a large enough group now and over 300 releases to their name.

Actually, for non-scene rips... emule is damn good in general. On many emule forums, people just wait for a better rip than the scene releases.

Can't really say which is best, but I find lots of user encoded stuff on PISexy. Might want to check that out.
