i just found out the hard way that my AOL email address swiftly deflects any invites without even having the grace of putting them in my spam folder. after speaking to a friend about it, he said even Yahoo wont work with invites. so thusly ive started using gmail as that seems to have the most success.

any opinions?

i think everyone and their brother uses gmail for invites. for high level trackers though i recommend using your POP3 account. its the safest

Gmail hands down, does anybody use something else?
POP3, does anybody check their emails on their isp email anymore?

Yeah, they do, but I rarely use mine. I'm kinda wary on using it. Any ideas why some prefer POP3 email over others?

I have foudn out the hard way in the past. Gmail has never failed me. That may change since now their a free email provider and have ridded of the invite only system.

for trackers like midnight torrents that dont allow gmail or any free mails, use the pirate bays 'Slopbox' or 'Yopmail', both disposable emails where you just make up an address and then login with the address afterwards

ya i myself have used yahoo for a couple invite situations that worked out fine (after sifting through my spam folder), but gmail is just better than yahoo even if its just to play it safe. Cuz it seems that once that invite's out and doesnt reach your box, theres no second chance!

yahoo mail with its great disposable mail function. I am suspecious that some small trackers would sell my email to junk mail provider. thus, i could delete them when neccassary

Gmail. I used to have a yahoo address, and some people had problems when trying to send me an invite.

as far as I know, many trackers would have a problem sending invite to Hotmail, and some to Yahoo, I really wonder why there would be such problem ?

In some trackers where donīt accept public mails Iīve registered with an account I created at scandinavica.com.

But in my opinion GMail is the very best.

GMail, the moment that someone invites you it takes like 4 seconds to the mail arive, and there are no problems with changing passwords.

But gmail is not an email client, they are an email provider, and as providers go, they are good, but not as good as hushmail.

I use Outlook Express as my invite client :P
