Waffles and what.cd both are the best

some say it's between Waffles and What.cd?

I wouldn't know, not a member of either

ive only been here a few weeks and it already seems like this thread gets created every day...

it's really a matter of personal use. stm has a bonus system and a good balance of leechers, btm is only lossless, if you go for that. waffles and what.cd are probably going to become the best trackers, if they can stop the lack of leechers problem.

you're also missing alot of specialized music trackers that are really important imo but im not gonna name them all.. you can search for similar threads where i posted them

stop spamming bro, what you say is pointless if you say 'but i dont know' afterwards

what.cd

I love it's theme.

it depends on what you're looking for. do you want lossless or just mp3s and what kinds of music are you looking for? I think waffles is one of the best for music, but there isn't one music tracker that can give you everything.

If you read it, you would see I said "Some say.." which means it's what other people say. I inform him that I'm not a member so that if he decides that Waffles or What.cd suck ass, I'm not responsible for leading him there.

You get it? So stop accusing me of spamming. It's not like I'm gonna leave because you hurt my feelings. So it's a useless waste of space on the page for you to post that my post was spam.

you're just really annoying because none of the 175 posts you've made in the last couple days have been useful to anyone

SenorBubbz
01-31-2008, 11:58 PM
None of them? It's impossible to post only 100% helpful things. I doubt ALL of your posts were helpful.

Yet I help people the way others help me, I don't think I spam and sometimes my posts are insightful, so I'd appreciate it if you got off my back please. Thank you.

to get all the music you need, you shouldn't put all the eggs at the same basket.

i use a combination of what.cd, waffles and stmusic to suit all my needs. Filemp3 was nice too, but i let my account expire there.

I find myself really partial to waffles and BTMusic. The quality and speed on what.cd just isn't up to par in my opinion.

I like STMusic a lot. It's probably one of the best.

If you don't have an account on the one I mentioned and the other trackers that were mentioned here, you could try:

musicplace.lv
sounddamage.com/
hhbase
trancebooster

You can check these out to see if they fit your taste! GL!

What.cd for me. Easier to seed and manage to upload a bit with free leech staff picks.

I'm at waffles and I can say it's really good, just don't download over 5GB without even uploading atleast 4GB or you're out, it's also better if you give a 1:1 ratio to mantain joining waffles :D

I don't know how much you need a prvt tracker for music, maybe for a rare album or 2, but not really that popular, or used compared to tv/films, video games, apps.

no, they both allow 192 kbps and above, but prefer VBR or flac. Pedros is lossless only

Private music trackers are ALOT more important than private video game trackers, at least for me. Almost any mainstream video game can be found on pubs like TPB, but most music on pubs is either transcoded, badly ripped, mislabelled, or in a low bitrate. It's disastrous trying to find music on public trackers. I only rarely use them, when I'm looking for an old single that isn't on what, waffles, or any private tracker, and only after i try requesting it first

Thanks dude, which one would you recommend? I've got Hip-Hop covered with HHBase, now I need something for everything else.

So would it be What.cd, Waffles, Pedro's or STMusic?

Synaptic
02-01-2008, 09:47 PM
waffles.fm & what.cd are basically the same & both are pretty good.
It's a bit harder to get in waffles tough (the easiest way is to be invited in what.cd & become PU).

1000possibleclaws
02-01-2008, 09:58 PM
well they BOTH are closed for invites. Synaptic, What.cd is pretty hard to get into now. At the beginning it's been easy but i think invites have only been opened once in the last couple weeks, and they've also kicked users down to 38 700, which is still more than 3000 users over the limit.

I would suggest Libble (9000 torrents ratio isnt even a factor cuz of their bonus system) and Stmusic for now (easy to seed), and depending if you're into punk, hardcore, indie, psychobilly, ska, and all the more underground genres, Kraytracker.

I can invite you to both Libble and Kraytracker if you try and make less spam posts SenorBubbz :P although I don't have any STM invites left. pm me an email if you want either of those invites.

as for what.cd or waffles, either one would do great. don't be picky cuz its hard now to get into either right now

SenorBubbz
02-01-2008, 10:27 PM
Thank you for the invites TSOL, I think I'll take that Libble invite, I'll pm you me gmail.
I'll try and get the STM invite by myself.

As for Pedro's, I'll look into that website a little bit more.

how is indietorrents good? theres less than 2000 torrents and its pretty hard to maintain ratio compared to other similar sites. also, its full of indie rocker elitists :pinch:

I know that libble exists but I thought it's open for sign-ups... Oh well..

Waffles is hard to get into because they close their invites :D Same is through with What.cd , all I currently have is waffles.

soulseek

always over trackers and always going to be above trackers, no matter how hard they try, no matter how many torrents to they have, soulseek is always going to be the best

otherwise, waffles and what are the best, both in selection and quality.
