Here is the full version, straight from Microsoft.COM, but I am not sure if it contains the MSDN library, the .img files I think are CD images, but if you can't get it from here, try:

ShareReactor (http://forum.sharereactor.com/viewtopic.php?t=126832)
ShareReactor (http://forum.sharereactor.com/viewtopic.php?t=126870)

These downloads ought to be fast (depending on your connection) seeing as they are from dedicated Microsoft servers. ;)

Edit: These files are the MSDN Library 2003 April. I recommend downloading after you download Visual Studio, they won't be much use otherwise! :o

OMG Did you try those downloads rofl

That is hilarious :P

I bought Visual Studio .NET Academic 2002, I LOVE VB.NET
It probably would be good if I downloaded that too? Would it update my current version? And what's the main differences between Academic 2002 and Architect 2003?

Amarjit

Academic is the student licensed version, I don't know if it would upgrade it, but I have got MS Office XP Student Edition and doesn't include everything the Standard Edition of Office includes, it doesn't include Access and MapPoint etc.. So I recommend you upgrade, and the 2003 edition fixes some major bugs from 2002. The links do work ;) I'm downloading it now, at 80KB/s from Microsoft-IIS servers!

Edit: There are three editions, Professional, Enterprise Developer and Enterprise Architect (which is the best). I found some help to burning the IMG files with Nero. Click here (http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/27424).

It turned out to be MSDN Library 2003, but as soon as I find VS .NET 2003 EA Edition, I suppose it'll come in handy. ;)

All I need are the .img files to burn right? I just started downloading them now (I'm about to go to bed lol). Off of an ADSL connection I get a good 49.3 kb/sec, and that's basically the highest I can get :).

3 hours and 37 minutes about for each CD, NOT bad!

I'll clear things up a bit, the original hashes are MSDN Library 2003 April. For Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003 Enterprise Architect Edition, use the following:

http://www.fasttrackmovies.com/forum/topic...?TOPIC_ID=25864 (http://www.fasttrackmovies.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=25864)

For the Sharereactor release, you need eDonkey2000, eMule, eMule Plus, Shareaza or any other client that connects to the eDonkey2000 network, such as MLdonkey.

The FastTrack Movies link you can just use KaZaA Lite ;-).

And moderators, the MSDN Library is not a DDL, they are public releases from Microsoft. VM0824, sometimes the MS servers are busy, during peak time I was downloading from 32-40KB/s but off-peak, it was anywhere from 64, 85-110KB/s.

If anybody d/l it already then go online. I haven't even connected once yet.

I haven't bother trying to download it from KaZaA Lite, this file is ultra-rare. I've got about 100MB (83.4%) left of it from the eDonkey2000 network, which I am downloading with Shareaza. At the moment, I can't connect though. :(

amarjit how did u get those dls off the microsoft website?

Amarjit

I found them in an NFO file, files are fine, went into the installer okay. I've done 97.00% now! It's downloading at a measly 5KB/s so I might finish it in the morning, I'll let you know if it works okay. :)

Edit: And like I said earlier, they're publicly released, if you Google "qtr40enud1" you'll find lots of websites posting the same DL link, since the files have been publicly released. ;)

Yeah, downloading the MSDN Library is fine, but I've been at downloading VS .NET 2003 for like a week now, because the fastest I've downloaded it was 35KB/s for like 20 minutes.

Although, this is the second time I've been downloading it, last time, there was a power failure and my download was lost :(.

This is the full working version, no serial required. I have forgotten to mention that Microsoft Visio for Visual Studio .NET Enterprise Architect and Visual SourceSafe 6.0c, you have to get seperately.

used nero to burn to cd

and then I downloaded the msdn from microsofts site

I'm happy

The ShareReactor link isn't working here... I have been trying the K-lite download, but as you said, it's super rare. I have the 3 MSDN cd's already downloaded and burnt. I just need the .net Visual Studio now.

Any way of getting that ShareReactor link working? edonkey2000 seems to be the better choice on this one...

ShareReactor are doing maintenance operations on their servers, so it may take a few tries to get in.

I think this is the same file, renamed though:

Visual%20Studio%20.NET%202003%20Enterprise%20Architect%20(en).exe (ed2k://|file|Visual%20Studio%20.NET%202003%20Enterprise%20Architect%20(en).exe|729468416|6f49ae150a7e76a4969b1de8b46c12fc|/)

This is the file in the ShareReactor post but it is WinZip extracted rather than self-extracted:

en_vs.net_2003_enarch_full.zip (ed2k://|file|en_vs.net_2003_enarch_full.zip|729468416|6f49ae150a7e76a4969b1de8b46c12fc|/)

Good Luck!

I finally ended up getting it from SuprNova, and I must say, this program is nice. Only problem is, all the ideas I had to use it for just disappeared when I finished installing. lol Damnit I hate that. Just right down the :flush:

Any suggestions? I really want to put this program to good use.

MP3 Player? I found a tutorial in VB, it shouldn't be hard converting it to C++/C# whatever, you can print the ID3 tags, edit them and the list goes on.
