I have a good news from pisexy for you all who really want to join pisexy for a long time. Pisexy just announced this :

Dear Members,

During the month February PiSexy will have some 'open' signups.

How much I (pimpie) like to see this site closed, it's just not working out to keep a healthy system running...

When and how we openup I will not tell, so that I can concentrate on getting people in here that come for torrents and not because we are pisexy or whatever.

And on that time I think someone will eventually post that here. I just want to inform you all so you better be ready when the time comes :)

I'm interested to know why you think this?
If you give your account away in a random giveaway then you don't have a clue what the person who gets the acc. will do with it (cheat etc) but if you give an acc. to a friend, and get nothing back, I can't see it is anymore risky than giving an invite to a friend.

Having said that I guess you are letting your friend 'jump the queue' because if you let your account die then, in theory, it opens up space for another member.

@fstokebanget I also let my acc. die a while back and I really think you will be disappointed when you finally get into pisexy.

If you think about it, if they gave out invite their would be people trading them to the highest bidder. so in a way would you rather have people become members by trading or have people that check the site for an opening.

Technically, open sign-ups could mean a lot of multiple accounts for trading and tons of hit n runs which is why a lot of sites don't add members that way. However, I think quite a few sites still choose this over invites just because it's easier to monitor the bad new members. Invites often make the process slightly more complex.

It really depends on what the staff thinks has the smallest opportunity cost. No matter how you let members in, you'll get bad seeds. It just depends on the most efficient way of dealing with them.

OR they are just trying to throw off the people using the page change plugin, as it will show the page as changed quite often this way. That way its harder to know when they open signups, if they open them, without manually looking :)

who cares about the levels - basically all that revolves around is the paranoia of the staff in relation to opening signups.
