There's been a few people I know who are so disgusted with the current US president and general fuckmess that have expressed interest in relocating abroad(uk) to work in the tech field(web design). I've seen Bristol suggested as a good place to live and work. After checking it out it really looks nice. Maybe a good place for young progressives, the "hip" crowd or whateva.

here's a >job< (http://bristol.craigslist.co.uk/tch/559340466.html) i found that looks good, but it's only for 4 weeks. why are they offering pay in american dollars is beyond me. if they meant 15 pounds that's not bad it's actually higher than average US pay for that job afaik.

a nice looking flat (http://bristol.craigslist.co.uk/apa/526805230.html), but how much would utilities run on a flat like that? it's still higher than typical US prices for something comparable in a non-ghetto area. but it's also furnished, and here that makes the price go up alot too.
