Darkwave is saying you can't expect to get the stuff you want for the invitation you have, and that you'd be better off presenting yourself as a generous person who people might want to help in the future. I think you need to establish yourself in the forums of the sites you're on. If you stand out for good reasons and make some friends, you'll get in wherever you want easily.
