ihave a seedbox with windows on it and firefox browser and utorrent. i ran a speedtest and my upload speeds were fantastic in the uper 20 k's but my dl speeds only 3k. My ports are open on utorrent and i wasnt running anyhting else so why am inot seeing higher numbers for my dl speed of a 100 mb unlimited connection. Ive seen speedtests that show high #'s on both sides, so any help would be greatly appreciated?? Plus is there any tweaking i can do to windows or uttorent on my server to get unleased speed.

Is it XP with service pack 2?
If so the tcpip.sys patch might help:

wow, great, wonder where is your seedbox ?
and I wouldn't suggest to patch the tcpip.sys, since I think you're on Win 2003 server right ?

yeah there is option that u might check for the firewall block popup's

or else ur ports might be manually blockin u as of remote usage

Mine is on Windows 2003 Server. Although I get the full contracted speed on utorrent I always get shitty speeds on speedtest...

But u're right... I always get much more upload than download.

I need make speedtest with Linux Fedora 6

I asked about this before, but seems you cannot unless you have a GUI on your Fedora

Just to let you know messi30, I figured it out how to run speedtest on a linux box, you would need these :
1. fluxbox
2. xfonts-base
3. xdm
4. firefox
5. flashplugin
6. vnc4server

since you're on Fedora, I think you can use yum -y install to get all those packages and dependencies
