Well, now i dont know what uTorrent to use... :blink:
If in one tracker you can use the 1.7.7, and in another you cant...what to use now ?
Have another bitorrent client, like azureus ?

To my knowledge myspleen is the only one tracker that i have and know of that bans 1.7.7. Download and use Azureus as an alternative for the trackers that do not permit utorrent 1.7.7

i think your best option is azureus.I think 2.5 version is still allowed on most sites

Works for me. I use 1.7.7. and am currently seeding two torrents from BCG. If stoi tells me differently, i will immediately stop seeding my torrents in the utorrent 1.7.7 client.

edit: i'm only seeding one torrent at this time.

If your unsure just pm the staff that don't allow and also pm them to double check and make sure if they do allow version 1.7.7. or not. Most trackers are advertising it on their main page. I don't think BCG is any different even though i didn't see anywhere on the main page or in the faq and rules, stating they did ban utorrent 1.7.7.

Azureus is safe on every tracker except for WB. It uses a lot resources than uTorren, but that shouldn't matter if you got a decent computer.

Azureus is safe on every tracker except for WB. It uses a lot resources than uTorren, but that shouldn't matter if you got a decent computer.

even if u have decent computer i dont like azureus just becuase of that..he eating a lot resources and that is probably main reasone why i always use light utorrent:D

yeah, i used to use azureus there but until i got sick of azureus :(

i still have 1.6.1 (which i think is allowed there)...and 1.7.7 for other tracker :P

I hate Azureus it uses up too much cpu resource. Especially with the plug-ins you need to really make it a good usable bt client. squirrl3 using both 1.6.1 and 1.7.7. concurrently gives you no issues?

Google to learn how to use the /RECOVER switch to running two copies of utorrent (using shortcuts and editing the properties of the shortcuts) on the same machine, even at the same time if you are clever enough :P

Yes, we have but, we control the announce and comments along with other aspects of the torrent on upload...

So there is no risk using those clients -

We only allow the 1500 and 1600 versions of that client.

Actually, I find it amazing that people use that client or Bittorrent.
