TTi used to work great for me, but the last 4 or so movies I've watched from TTi have either been foreign with no english subs, or they've been altered by the scene to have finnish and swedish subtitles, and i need to do a bunch of configuring to get the sound to work and the subtitles to not show. It's really annoying..

I've also tried 0 day trackers for example SITR, Leecher's Lair, but found most of those movies had the same problem. There's Karagara, but that's a bitch to seed on ..

is there an alternative to TTi for untouched english dvdrs, prefereably DVD5 over DVD9, and widescreen over fullscreen, but I'm not that picky as long as they are english?

niice. umm what else have i needed besides TTi upload awhile ago? i was just asking for recommendations cause i had always thought TTi was THE video place but its started to fail me lately. I can find ways to get into those sites probably.

You probably will not get an NB invite you need to speak their language or have a nordic ip or something. Try to get TDC.

even if they're english, wouldnt you assume they've been altered to get finnish subtitles, or whatever they speak in northern europe? anyways thnx, i've heard tdc might open signups soon? if not its only level 3 i could always swap an invite for it..

In my opinion bithq is the best dvd-r tracker. Give it a chance you'll like it. :)

You don't?

I wanted to get Sw*dvdr and No*bits but these rumours about having to have a nbordic IP or speak their language have put me off a little bit...

I hear they are great but can someone finally confirm if that is true or not?

Thx in advance.

Btw, I find theDVDclub very nice. I'm also a member at TTi but it's a very recent account so I can't say how it was before. I guess OP has been a member there for quite a while so he must know better than me but so far I find it a great source DVD's.

Cheers!

TDC is a great tracker. I see 3+ movies a day that I'd love to grab. Straight classics that you can't find elsewhere because there aren't scene releases.

lol i see my topic has been resurrected.. but now I am a member of more than enough movie sites

the ones I use most often for dvdr's are

TDC (because of NSTC and english dvds w/o all the subs/altered menus)
TTi (it has a great selection + seed hours)
BitHQ

yeah, and new dvds I can find on a 0day tracker
