I find with most problems concerning XP and Utorrent using a network, it's easer to run the Network Setup from XP disk and follow the directions . Kill's me that a simple reboot corrects most of the problems .

If you got your ports working correctly on your desktop then all you have to do is follow the same guide, but just add the Laptop ip to the port forwarding section of your router and make sure to use a different port then the one your desktop uses.

If you need some help forwarding your ports posting what router brand and model# you have will allow us to help you better.

andrew.cook, did you have your laptop connected now ? If you haven't, you need to set the port forwarding from inside your router
