Two player shooter games?

I'm looking for two person shooter games for ps2, wii or xbox360

I played RE Umbrella Chronicles for Wii and loved it and want to play more like it.
So if anyone knows any games pls let me know.

Do you mean rails shooter like RE:UC, Ghost Squad, Virtua cop?
Or shoot em up's such as Gradius and Ikaruga?

Ghost Squad is rails shooter for Wii. It's pretty good but short.

Wii shmups
Ikaruga (Gamecube but works on Wii)
Shikigami 3 (JAP released, US version spring 08 I think)
Gradius 1 and 3 (Virtual Console, very old game)

PS2 has tons of shmups. Do you want a list?

Ghost Squad is rails shooter for Wii. It's pretty good but short.

I played Gears of War (2 player) but it was hard with the split screen.
I kept forgetting what screen I was on and kept getting killed :rolleyes: lol

I know in March House of Dead is coming out for 2 player for Wii, I cant wait :D

Yeah I would love a list. But not to old where the graphics are crappy lol

I dont know PS2 rail shooters. Shmups are a whole different genre, sidescrolling game where you pilot a ship and shoot everybody.

Why do you even want PS2 rail shooters if you dont have motion sensing? It just doesnt work with a pad. Unless you have light guns?

Nice find that house of dead. I found a sneak peek. Someone using wii remote on PC version. I'll be looking forward to this game too :)

EGM is reporting that Sega is developing a Virtua Cop game for Wii. They didn’t gave us any additional info so we don’t know if this will be a game for the Virtual Console or if it’s going to be a whole new game.


Apparently it is out in arcades in Japan. Found a video.

I bought ghost squad and the guy at the store told me the same thing about the ps2 and 360 that you did. So I will just wait for HOD 3 :D

I did get time shift for 360 it looks fun.

Time Crisis 2 and 3 (PS2) (has multiplayer)

Crisis Zone (PS2)

House Of The Dead 2 and 3 (Xbox, dunno if it's compatible with the 360 but if so it'll cost less than the Wii version with no graphical difference)

Halo 3 (4 player MP via XBL)

You can play Gears online with 2 players and no split-screen.
