View Full Version : Good book sites? (not e-learning)

Hi all, I'm wondering what trackers are best for fiction and non-fiction e-books, especially more recent/current stuff.

I know about the e-learning sites (love BitMe), but they (obviously) focus on educational non-fiction, and I know what's available on Waffles and What as well. I guess I'm looking for specialized e-book trackers or a general tracker that has a large book selection.

Suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Bitme, Learnbits, Bitspyder, and ebookvortex. Also try what.cd.

As I mentioned in my post, I'm aware of the e-learning trackers, (they don't include much fiction or general non-fiction), and I already know what Waffles and What have to offer (not very extensive selection). Thanks anyway for responding :)

Any other suggestions for fiction and general non-fiction?

Personally, I don't know of any trackers that are good for fiction (what has some but usually not the ones I'm looking for - I can only read "top 69 books" so many times...)

Websites like esnips has a fairly large fiction base, you just have to know what to look for.

Also, there are a ton of message boards that specialize in providing people w/ ebooks... Let me know if you need links. <~~ How I get most of my fiction.

And, of course, there is the IRC.

Thanks all for your responses. Many were very helpful. Of course, some have suggested e-learning sites like BitMe, when I specifically asked for sites other than e-learning sites - those people need to learn to read :) Haha, get it? OK, that was a bad joke, just kidding around. Thanks everyone.
