I just got done with my month with GeekRacks and this was the best seedbox hosting I have ever used. I paid 50$ and recieved:

Intel Pentium D Dual Core 3.0GHZ
1024MB RAM
250GB HDD
2,000 GB
5 Dedicated IPs
24 HR Setup, No Setup Fee

http://www.geekrack.net

Over the month I built up 1TB on ScT, 200GB on BitMeTv, and 100GB on BitMe , didn't even use up all of my bandwidth. The speeds were usually around 4mb/s , 7mb/s UP was my best. They have a cool site and the support actually helped me setup torrent flux. There's a raffle going on now for people who sign up after Feb. 5th for an XBoX 360, iPod, and Free Hosting.
They have a new 30$ plan on their specials that offers 2TB bandwidth. It's the only hosting I've found that offers 100mbit servers with that much bandwidth for such a low price.

Highly recommend to anyone looking for much more than what they pay for.

50 us? If so then looks like a pretty nice box. 2TB is a decent amount of traffic per month, unless you try to buffer heaps of accounts.

Used a geekrack server for one month - never again.

The 100mbit connection (At the time I used them) was shared between all their servers.
So you can get ~7mb/s, but most of the time I only got about 2mbit out.

If you are getting a geekrack server, just ask them if the 100mbit is dedicated or shared.

This is another reseller among many for burst.net. Here is the official website (http://www.nocster.net/sale.shtml) if someone wants to buy straight from them and not through a reseller. I have the cheapest server from them for more than a month now, and here is my experience:

Hardware: P4 1.5Ghz, 512MB RAM, 40GB HD: Good enough for two users running utorrent in linux with medium to low usage (still use up 2 TB over the month).

Network: There was some network connection issue early on when I first got it, but it has been up and stable ever since. Upload speed can reach 7-8MB/s. Keep in mind though, the data center is in the U.S, so the speed to European users isn't very good.

Support: Any kind of support will cost you money except reboot and failed hardware. Trouble tickets for reboots are answered in minutes. They will most likely cancel your server if they find out you are filesharing and have copyrighted contents on your hard drive. But they don't actively monitor your server for it, at least so far with me.

thanks a lot for hook us up with this great info
but after I browse either http://www.geekrack.net/dedicated.php and http://www.geekrack.net/dedispecials.php, I couldn't find the $50 offer for those specs you wrote down.

I asked them and here's their answer

Hello,

There are normally around 20 servers per dedicated line, if you are looking at purchasing a full dedicated 100MBPS line you are looking at around 1600 per month for that line. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.

The cheapest price for a dedicated 100mbit line i can recall is about $800/month. You will never get a dedicated 100mbit line for those prices at geekrack website.
