First proper film was The Crow on a 56k, first episode was of Angel (can't remember which ep though, maybe 1x03 In The Dark, or a season 2ep :unsure: )

I didn't dl any movies until I had a 0.5 Mbit connection, downloading a whole movie on 56k would have taken too long.

I havn't got a clue what the first movie I downloaded was, I think my first DivX ever was "Scary Movie" or "Dude, where's my car?" ( :dabs: ) but I got those off someone else IRL.

The first one I downloaded might have been the original "Mad Max", but I'm not sure.


Before that I'd downloaded a couple of Andromeda eps, but those don't count here, so.

Office Space. 400mb DivX. (Learned about DivX this way, because the movie didn't play correctly at first. DivX was pretty buggy back in the day too. Had a few crashes once in awhile)
Downloaded it on a 56k MODEM from KAZAA! Took about 60 hours LOL.
It was the one movie I was willing to get...even with the 56k.
Deleted the thing like 5 years ago and now I've got a dvd player...with *wink a dvd copy of that new edition they released around last christmas.
I only download stuff you can't hardly find on DVDs nowa days, such as the entire Survivorman season 1. Love that show.
Later found out they have a DVD set you can buy online. (too bad Netflix doesn't carry it)
