where to find seedboxes

hey there guys; i'm thinking now to get me a seedbox; i just don't know where to look; i've found these two sites:

both cost me allmost the same price but the dedibox is much better than the hosting
still...
both from my experience are good servers and both you get unlimited BW

If you can afford mid-range, are planning on having one longer than 3 months, then the 581 from Hosting.ie fits the bill perfectly, so much so I had a 500GB hard disk added and now seed shit for months :D

Not for everybody - no, it may be for some though, to each their own, it isn't enough for me and I like to be using my box at the end of the month as well as at the beginning.

Don't forget 2TB is total BW, up & down, if you need to FTP to your home PC a lot, then it is not enough.

Have to agree with the sarge (well I would we have the same type of server :D ) The bandwidth quoted is total bandwidth up and down so if you download a file on to the server and then begin seeding it but also want to use the file yourself you must redownload it from the server to your home PC thereby using more bandwidth. 2TB might seem like alot but it is very easy to go through that much data just in straight download then seeding , so you seriously need to think what you are going to do with the server, an unlimited bandwidth server will give you more flexibility though.

I have not had any issues with them, I get a solid 11.5mb/s up and down all the time(when a torrent can offer it...usually on ScT).

The ftp speeds are great also and the price is also very good, and it truly is unlimited bandwidth, I hammered 3.3Tb in my first 2 weeks with them and by the end of the month managed just over 5Tb total traffic and the box never slowed down.

I highly recomment OVH from my own personal experience.

I hope yours is as good if you decide to go with them.

Only good "reseller" is a guy I know from Demonoid a while back. Not really reselling, but he gives people access to his FTP so they can downloda whatever they want there without hurting their ratios :)

I realize this. My question was more directed at is there a decrease in service through a reseller.

One thing I was reading from several members an another site is that ovh finds away to mess with your bandwidth if your not in one of the listed countries. Meaning if your suppose to be on 100mbit dedicated your only getting about 5mbit and their explanation for this is since you don't live in one of those specific countries they can't guarentee the service. These kind of stories make me very wary of ovh as I've done a little looking myself into them.
