I was wondering whether or not this is a good deal for the following items and whether or not they are good items.

Motherboard & CPU Combo w/ Intel P4 2.4GHz - 800MHz FSB
Artic Silver Thermal Compound
Upgraded Fan/Heatsink (70mm)
ASUS P4P800 - INTEL 865PE Chipset
PreTest Motherboard / CPU & Install Fan & Set CPU
Warranty - 1 Year

how much??? i build pc's matey and that a mighty fine set of kit..... regardless of price!!. :D

Indeed, those are higher end items, not Asus's top motherboard, but its with the newer Chipsets.

it was around $340 if i remeber correct so it is a good deal i guess

If im not mistaken you can get a top of the line 800Mhz board for like 140, and the 2.4Ghz with 800Mhz side bus for under 200, but I would have to check.
