Personally i don't think you need that someone tell you why to move in "real" life, this choice must be your. If I told you stop doing magic stuff, because that ou this, I tell you stuffs that are important in my opinion.

I think, because of this topic that you think to stop to do what you're doing.

Magic can be defined as the art of trickery, more often called illusion. In it's current form, magic is a source of entertainment and disbelief for the general population. A magician is no more than an actor on a stage, and it takes a certain type of person to give a convincing performance. You could have the best and most unique tricks in the book, but without the flair and an outgoing personality, they're worth nothing. The art of illusion takes a lifetime to master, and to become a half-way decent magician, you need to spend a good deal of time memorizing and practicing the tricks. If you feel that you have better things to do (work, school, women, etc), then they should take priority in your life. I have spent the last couple months of my life practicing and honing my skills as a magician, but only AoM has what I need to turn these tricks into something worth people's time. Trust me, if you want the account to get used on a daily basis, look no further.

I'll leave you guys with a quote from one of my favorite movies, The Prestige:

You never understood, why we did this. The audience knows the truth: the world is simple. It's miserable, solid all the way through. Oh, and by the way, you didn't waste 6 months of your life learning magic. Believe it or not, the skills you learned will be with you for the rest of your life. You can't believe how many times I've done something, then asked myself if I could've done that without studying illusions as long as I have. But, as I said before, you need to get your priorities straight. If you are doubting that magic should take a priority in your life, it's probably time for you to move on. Learn a new skill, or spend more time with the family. I always trust my gut feeling, if I feel that I'm not interested in something, or it's getting in the way of my priorities, I drop it. I might come back to it in the future, but I always make sure that everything else is taken care of.

Unless and until you don't feel that you have had enough of magic, you won't move on no matter what people may say. Think about the pros and cons of what you are doing and what you have done and decide upto yourself :)

I wouldn't say you wasted 6 months of your life doing magic. Magic is kind of like a hobby and should be enjoyed. Maybe magic was your favorite hobby back then, but now you have found something better to do. But you have to realize what is important in life. If you decide that you need to move on with your life, it isn't really a bad decision.

Any excess and extremeties in any area, the net result is that we suffer.It is a delicate balance between what we do in our life, and finding that Delicate balance, is actually, mastering our life, not giving into temptations and greed.
I was soo..... hooked on getting torrents trackers, that I ignore a lot of my daily life and responsibilities. Having that discipline, and determination are the ingredients that we can count on to make "magic" out of life and create value, finding that balance, that gives meaning to our daily lives.

I am NOT sure what I wrote haere makes any "sense" to you, but I hope it help you to realize something abouut Balance and disciple. Find and master that balance in life and U can make "Magic" with it.

I cannot dictate how you may move on with your life but I can definitely give up advice.

Everyone only live once and nobody can accomplish everything they wanted to before it would be soon over. Torrenting and magic should be a hobby not a priority of life. They aren't real but what is out there in day-to0day living is tangible and authentic.

I wouldn't say exactly a "waste" for the past 6 months, if you enjoyed what you have done, then you must have gotten something out of it. But right now perhaps you should have other goals to look forward to. Maybe work harder or study harder (depending on your age), put family/friends as your priority as they are those who would care for you when times become tough.

Perhaps take a break from the computer screen for a second and just go out and have fun. Party, exercise, holiday? Maybe you would find something inspiring and motivating if you try something new, there is no use sticking to what has been tiresome or monotonous for you already.

However it doesn't mean you have to give up your hobby of internet surfing, it's all about time management and setting priorities really. Have a succinct goal in life and you will move on just fine.
