I probably wouldn't even use it without bittorent. Well actually I would cause i'm a music producer but for any recreational purposes i wouldn't. 95% of my recreational usage is bittorrent (Seeding and Downloading). Other 5% checking out websites, chatting on this site, and checking my email.

I would not hurt me. I spend less than 20 % of my net time in torrenting related sites. There are other forums that I spend most of my net time. BUT my pc is connected 24/7 because of bittorrent.

I disagree, for me the internet doesn't mean only bittorent. Internet for me is the best and fastest way to communicate with my friends from other countries, the only place from where I take my information (and that include newspapers, magazines and live stream TV), shopping, etc.

But, I do agree that 90% from my bandwidth means bittorent. ;)

the internet wouldn't suck, theres IRC, Newsgroups, P2P... Its not like there isn't other options, and if BT didn't exist, something else would have been developed after the downhill trend on p2p apps like kazaa

You could really cope with dial up now? Back in the day that was fine, but with all the animated/graphic intense websites, plus all the video's and popups, you'd be lucky to find a site your looking for in an hour!
Unless of course your going to a text based web browser as well, then I suppose it would be aiight.
