soulseek vs limewire

what is better for music esp jus singles?? soulseek or limerwire, i only use limewire and am very happy up until now as some of the files i donwload are corrupt and cannot b read, i only use limewire for singles so i just want to compare which is better for singles.thanks

Can't really help to compare the 2 services, because my Limewire experience is very limited . I've had Limewire installed for about 6 hours in total, didn't think much of the obscure music content, thought it was riddled with what looked like small fake files .
Soulseek i like for singles . Even though the search facility can be hot or miss, depending on who you're connected to, it's pretty much always got me what i wanted . Sometimes it appears to hog or lockout my connection, despite the limits specified, but for those hard to reach files, i'll put up with it . I've actually had some decent conversations with people on Soulseek, which seems rare for most P2P systems .

Soulseek, if you find appropriate room it's grea, limewire has good content but low quality.

SSK followed by frostwire. SSK has just about anything, all it takes is time for search to do its duty. Frostwire is ok sometimes, but has issues most of the time.

i think both are shit use emule or bitt or rapidshare the time is over for that old staff and to be honest lime wire was good few years ago but right now the just have linced stuff virus file and incomplete files

I'd say Soulseek is for rare music and for the user that is into music / filesharing.

LimeWire is good for mainstream and for people that just want to fileshare with ease.

I use both only when I can't find my stuff anywhere else.

i don't like them because you dload something without knowing up front what it is you are getting on you PC. With BT or Http-boards a whole lot of people have downloaded the same thing before you, or you know the uploaders are trustworthy.
That's why I prefer BT or Http.
