who the hell cares.

Some do like me for example as a comparison is what usually occurs and it saves saying your specs everytime it may be needed which includes talking about games (will it run?), making a post with suggestions also answers (so, whats your specs?), or pc problems or even general pc talk. Plus it's a chance for some to show off :P.

So, in actual fact I see it far more usefull then your sig so plz don't complain.

I think its a good idea sometimes a member may have a problem and psot it and the peopel trying to help can simply look at their specs

TRshady
08-02-2003, 10:13 AM
said that :P . But it's a silly reason to start a thread here an really should be in the lounge because even though it's on avatar/sigs (our forum) its meant to get a negative reaction and where the hell did he get all those posts from?, lol.

I didn't know B&Q were doing computer hardware.
They'll be taking over from PCWorld next.

Oh those were the days, wander into PCWorld and ask them a question about computers, then laugh for the rest of the lunch hour while they ran around like headless chickens trying to find someone who had the vaguest idea what you were talking about. B)

Hehe, if you wander into Time and ask what motherboard is in one of their computers they look at you as if you're speaking a foreign language.

And if you patiently explain to them that the motherboard is the single most important part of a computer, they get really offended at you talking down to them.

Even if they understood your question, Time (and they aren't alone in this) put so many different motherboards into their comps (even supposedly the same model) that they couldn't tell you which was in there anyway.

But it's not as much fun if they get upset. You are obviously asking far too technical questions. Wait till no-one's looking, then turn one off at the switch on the ps and ask 'how do you switch it on', it's probably good for at least half an hour if you insist you want to see that one working.

And the 6 looks like an 8 if you try real hard.
