Lately Dvd shrink has been letting me down ripping some movie, sometimes RipIt4Me does the job but not everytime. Can anyone recommend any new programs that may be better or help when these programs let me down.

Not really has far as ripping dvd's to circumvent the content protection the manufacturers impose on all new dvd's. I would also add dvdfab platinum, dvd decripter, and Dvd Region Free + CSS to your base of dvd programs.

IMO the best software to remove protection is AnyDvd from slysoft.

These days I use AnyDvd in conjunction with nero recode which is similar to shrink.
But in the past i have used Anydvd in conjunction with shrink.

Give it a go, once u try it you'll never go back ;)

Anydvd slysoft is good for blu ray. They have almost completely cracked the blueray protection that is imbedded on all blu ray discs. Their good for DVD9 as well, but you will need dvdfab and decrypter also.

I simply use AnyDVD (6.3.1.2) and DVD Shrink and I have no problem.

I also got AnyDVD free.

If you have those 2 you don't need anything else for ripping and can burn with any burning software.

Pretty simple.

No you don't. You can use good ole Shrink.
