Hmm, you tell us to grow up then make a childish statement about the size of someone's penis.
*cough* hypocrite *cough*

Ok, serious reply.

The problem is almost certainly that your card is outputting NTSC rather than PAL (or the other way round if you are in US/Japan). You should have been asked which you wanted the first time you used the card, Alternatively, some of them auto-detect, but if your tv wasn't connected it may have selected the wrong setting.

There is a way to reset this, but it is a little dangerous.

First remove the card from the pc, get a couple of paper clips and attatch them at each end of the board (the gold connectors). You should be covering about 3 connectors at each end, but it's not too important. Now, you need a length of power cable. Make sure it isn't live, then attach the live and neutral wires (brown and blue in UK) to the paper clips (one to each). Now turn the power on for a few seconds.

You should here a popping sound, that's the board being reset.

You should have no problems with black and white images after that.

Or alternatively, attach a car battery to your knackers, straighten out loads of wire coat hangers to form a chain and plug one end in and tie the other round your neck.
Then get in a bath full of water and get someone to turn the power on

win tv is a receiver aint it. the ntsc/pal thing is in a menu when you tune your channels. experiment with different things. PAL I works best for me

That's fine, but that's also incorrect.
I've been a silent member for a very long time, registered as chalkmongoose but never bothering to post.
I have absolutely no idea why it says "11th of June"...

Might be the date you responded to the validation email

That makes no sense man... I responded to the validation email when I joined; in mid 2002.

Jeez, I've just re-read the title and realised what the guy is asking.

He's won a black and white tv, and wants to know if someone will swap it for a colour one. He must think we are all mugs in here (quiet Bo, don't prove him right).

To the original poster of this thread. If it was meant as a real question you should have posted it in 'HardwareWorld'. You would have a more positive response to this.

Whoops. Sorry guys. I did join in June of 2003. What a shocker, I thought it was still 2002. You can see how I got confused.

/bong stares back in a saddish manner
/me comforts bong, hugging it
