if the file is large, then you probably just don't have the codec to view the part video part of the file. the audio stream is separate.

get the K-Lite Codec Pack from here Final Builds (http://home.hccnet.nl/h.edskes/finalbuilds.htm)

This is probably in the wrong area too, you should have had a look in MovieWorld, there is probably a pinned topic for this, use the search function in future.
