Ibook Help!

If any here knows anything about Apple ibooks please help! When i try and start my ibook all i hear are three beeps then it shuts down.

Did you buy it in a store that seemed legit? is it used? anything else wrong with it? was there anything wrong with it before? (if there was a before) be more specific please..

i've had it for about three months o bought it from my uncle. I had it hooked up to my t.v. through the s-video adapter kit, and i was watching a movie then it just shut off. I tried to turn it back on and it started beeping.

Ehhh.. did you smell anything wierd comming from the lappy?
