View Full Version : uTorrent 1.6.1 and 1.7.7

Is it possible to install them at the same time ? And how, I dled 1.6.1 installer but It's pure exe, can't work at the same time as 1.6.1.

As far as I know.. You can only use one at a time.

If you mean using both in the same time, you can make two profiles in windows and in each profile install a different version of utorrent. All you have to do next is to switch between profiles.

wrong... you can use both in the same time

1. Create a new folder
2. Copy utorrent.exe into that folder
3. Copy the .dat files from %appdata%\uTorrent into this new folder
4. Create a shortcut for this utorrent.exe in this folder
5. Edit the shortcut's target by adding /RECOVER to the end of the Target, outside of any quotation marks, and separated with a space.
6. Open this shortcut. Your settings should be retained, just edit the IP and/or port you want to use.

But if you try to cheat with these for your Ratios sake, then I hint you not?

i tested once... now i use only 1.7.7

i think it ll risky on most of the trackers , as i very much doubt about its credibility...

u can not, if you have ScT and CZone... CZone make problem for me in this time... fot other trackers I can use 1.7.7 but no there... and on ScT not alowed 1.6.1... :(

Corey I think I saw a guide on a tracker forum but I can't remember which. If I find it I'll let you know.
