sorry there is no easy way to compare these 2 trackers. It's like apples and oranges. Sct is an established tracker with a broad user base. Scl is a brand new tracker with not even 1/10th of the user base but it looks like it has a bright future. They are both very high quality trackers. It depends what your into.

ScL and ScT are two completely different kind of trackers. ScT got the wide content, the better pretimes and speeds, and more users, whereas ScL has the packs and community. Compairing these two is like compairing which of a Ferrari and a Saab is the better car. It depends completely on who you are and what you are gonna use the car for :)

One doesn't really need to be a member to know something that obvious. I'm one of the first members to register on scl and what I see at the moment is a list of torrents with average 3 peers on each torrent. Not to mention the forum - each section has about 10-20 topics. I understand that the tracker is relatively new, but that's exactly why you shouldn't compare it to ScT. Well, actually you should never compare it to ScT, not even in the future.

Whichever one you prefer for whatever reason is what suits you best.

If you have both, then great, if not then try to get both, you won't be disappointed with either of them and both are different enough to complement each other.

It's not about who vs who, it's about what you want from a tracker, and if you don't like what's on offer, move on and try somewhere else.

Above all else, enjoy the ride & have fun along the way.

This discussion reminds me of PC and MAC Generalist's. My Mac is better because it's colorful, cost thousands of unnecessary dollars, and due to OSX. PC is better cause of Windooze Vista, it's cheaper, and you can do more, blah, blah. Same with the PS3 vs Xbox 360 discussions. Just strive to be a member of both Scl and ScT, then you don't have to argue over which one is better. They both offer great varieties of content, forum, etc , depending on the type of individual. It's all on your type of tastes. Just get them both, be happy, and live another day.

sct has good content but the staff there are not as friendly and supposedly nice as scl because at least the invites are free at scl unlike sct where u have to donate to get one. which in my opinion is unfair. where as scl is a good community and has some very nice content yet no as many torrents as sct. so all in all i would choose scl.

Ok so I went to the what trackers are worth thread and it shows that ScL is some new tracker that was started back in Nov. Somehow this new tracker is level 5, the same as ScT, so now people are comparing it to ScT I guess. Interesting, I don't think there is even a review on the tracker.

Like tons of other have mentioned, Scl for the community, and ScT for the content. But I think once Scl gets older, and some more members, the content is going to be just as good there. Look at SCC, the content there is almost identical to ScT.

If I had to pick, I think I would say I like Scl, just because it seems more relaxed there.

This thread is obvious proof that people love to hype the trackers they are in because it makes them feel more important over the internet. ScL and ScT are at different stages of their development. It's like comparing a newborn baby to a 26 year old marathon runner. At this point in time the baby is just learning to walk but in the future he may break all the records of the marathon runner.
