System Bios Problem?

When I press more than one key on my keyboard my system speaker beeps like crazy and my pc freezes untill I stop pressing the key. The Same Problem when I move my mouse and press any key. Has anybody had the same problem or knows how to fix it??? :blink:

Upgrade from Win98 to 2K or XP.

ME is still a Dos based OS and has the same drivers as 98, so you will have the same problems. Have you tried windows update to see if there are any updated drivers ?

I'm pretty sure the problem is caused by a conflict between drivers, but I haven't used Dos based systems for a couple of years now so it's hard to remember what the possibilities are.

You could help by giving a complete hardware list, but I have a feeling you may not solve the problem without upgrading to a NT-based OS.
