I didn't see it specified anywhere, but do these remotes support players other than windows media center?

It will do basic controls for most media application (pause, play, volume, etc.) but it's not really designed for it. There might be ways to adapt the remote but I never looked into it.

i have a wireless keyboard for that....although i must admit a remote would be more convenient.
