i was trying to put an aftermarket fan on my evga 8800gt but in the process stripped the fucking screws. is there ANYTHING i can do?

Did you completely round them off? You could try a bigger sized bit and see if that works, take your time!

Drench them in a lubricant such as WD-40, then clench the deteriorated screw with a pliers, and twist the screw. I have done this on several occasions to undo stripped screws from my car.

Go to your local hardware store and get a screw extractor. The right tool for the right job. And to the WD40 guy, WTF???

all is well guys. i realized that those screws were not the ones that needed to come off to take off the heatsink :stupid:

You animal what did you do!? As necro said I believe the best way to do it would be a screw extractor.
