if you mean uncapping your modem, the chances are extremely high
it's not worth it in the end really...
a quote from my isp's monthly update, Blueyonder, uk,
Unfortunately the issue with customers uncapping their cable modems has
re-appeared in the last few weeks.
Along with taking immediate action under the terms and conditions of
service and Acceptable Use Policy when we see this [we have disconnected
a number of uncappers already], we are working together with the
National Hi-Tech Crime Unit and other broadband ISPs with a view to the
possibility of bringing private prosecutions against individuals for
theft of service and in relation to breaches of sections 1 and 3 of the
Computer Misuse Act 1990.
If you are doing this [or know of anybody doing it] please ensure this
activity desists immediately.

yes that's what i meant, the reason i asked is because the RIAA seems to hate me, because i'm getting downloads of under 1 kb every second.
