then again if your spendin a week with some other fellow insomniacs like i was, you may just suffer many awakening hours of blurred vision...

"Insomnia may result from either psychological or physical causes
In fact, insomnia may be an indicator of depression. Many people will have insomnia during the acute phases of a mental illness".

Sorry couldn't resist.
Seriously try to get rid of external distractions.Turn everything off an hour before bed and get more fresh air. It's a great sedative.

Go to sleep at the same time every evening. Your body learns that that's sleepy time. The shit works.

and NO tv, or web/computer at least an hour before bed. Also, don't eat/snack during this hour either. If you mind/body is buzzing it is no wonder you can't sleep.

nighty-night and sweet dreams.

If I have trouble sleeping, I usually just lay in bed.

Even if you can't sleep, it's still good for the body to lay down.

Once I laid in bed for 9 hours, pitch black, no sleep. It sucked.

Fook that. I get about 6-6.5 and that's fine for me. Perfect actually.

I wake up without an alarm clock within about 5 minutes of 6:15 every morning. I set the alarm clock, but almost always awaken prior to it's annoying buzz.

I once read that Herschel Walker only slept 4 hours a night and it didn't seem to effect him.
Afraid I'm dead without 8 hours of nappy though.

Yea.. I also set my alarm, but never really need it as I'm always awake by the time it goes off. If I get 3 hours of sleep it's a win for me.. :(
