what about a new thread which is used solely for recommending threads which people feel need to be deleted
if someone thinks a thread should be deleted, they link to it in another post
then someone checks this thread, and decides whether to keep the thread or not
this would work much like the "report anything unusual thread", which is an example of a working precedent...
sounds good idea, keep the board a bit cleaner of stupid newbie posts
