Darkplace has Moss from IT Crowd (and who cameos in Mighty Boosh) in it as well as the guy who takes over the company in the second series, Matt Berry. Man to Man with Dean Learner is a spin-off of Darkplace.

Snuff Box is Matt Berry again, alongside Rich Fulcher (both were also in Mighty Boosh).

Nighty Night is a dark comedy with the other one from Mighty Boosh, Julian Barrat's missus in it.

All funnier than a rabbit with aids.

1) bitching about music have fuckall to do with the thread, and nor does it in anyway reinforce whatever deluded argument you have going, and you know, it's not my fault you have no taste/are an idiot, and 2) Most countries don't do subtitles or dubbing very often, and swedish isn't exactly a world language. Countries with people who can read subtitles and watch something at the same time (I'ma assume that doesn't includes loltastic jackasses like yourself), or who do dubbing (ie Germany for one) do buy some swedish programming (turns out some of it is pretty popular in germany as well, tossers though they may be, dunno and don't care about the rest of the world).

But to be absolutely fair, this thread isn't about swedish TV either, you fucking idiot. It's only you who started complaining about it, on the off-chance that some guy with a swedish flag on him might be from sweden, which normally isn't the case with flags, around here. And then you went after music. What's next?

The main problem with British Comedy is that it is written in a subtle manner, and requires a level of understanding often not found in people who think a staple diet is a burger and giant coke.

British comedy is exported throughout the world and has one ingredient that most other comedies lack, and that is the absence of slapstick. Most foreign comedy relies on gags of the moment, whereas British comedy can be built up over the course of the show.

That's not to say that slapstick isn't in British comedy. The Young Ones and Bottom are excellent examples of slapstick, while shows like One Foot In The Grave, Only Fools And Horse, and The Vicar Of Dibley are shows that use integrated comedy.

Even our stand up comedians are rated some of the best in the world. Jim Davidson, Lenny Henry and Billy Connolly are three excellent stand ups that come to mind. In fact, Billy Connolly is regarded as one of the worlds greatest stand ups, who is able to turn real world simplicity into such explicit material.

Anyway, if British comedy is such crap, then why are Paramount, Universal and the other big US giants buying up the rights to distribute British comedy.

I even really liked Nathan Barley. Peep Show is quality as well i think, if very painful. Anyway Snee, if being multicultural is what makes you listen to The Longpigs (still!) then i'm going to have to familiarise myself a bit more with Davidson and probably Bernard Manning. See you've got a bit of, er, Bodyrox on there as well you chump. Bet you've got serious love for the Swedish House Mafia fromage haven't you? :glag:

Priceless. You really don't read what you write, yourself. Do you?

To sum it up for you:
Someone complains about TV in (I assume) your country, so you start bitching about TV in another country (TV, which you don't really seem to have a clue about), which possibly might be the country some other inbred agreeing with the first guy is from.

Then you tried going after some audioscrobbler statistics of mine (I guess your music is serious business indeed), and finally you managed to try and call me stupid, by evidence obtained through the magic of misinterpretation.

"I know you are, but what am I?" works well as a counterargument in kindergarten, I'm sure, btw. It isn't really working out very well for you here, though.
