It's very strange to hear about FF4 beta when even FF3 final is nor released yet... :ermm:

I'm still on FF 2.0.0.12 and after the last update really noticed a slow down while browsing and running Utorrent 1.7.7 . I like trying Beta software but find with FireFox a lot of my extensions don't work well or are n't supported .

@sagib , love your location . :yup:

I'm using Firefox beta 4... Better than version 2 (final) but I'm missing some add-ons that don't work into this beta =(

Don't know nothing about IE8 but I don't know if it will ever be better and secure than Firefox

CSS2 support:

I still havn't tried ff3, but it looks very good. They are working hard to make it as light as possible.

For ie8, i heard about it, but didn't see anything on it. Firefox gonna pwn it like always though.

Been using firefox 3 for a few beta versions. As soon as my extensions get updated to work with it, it'll become my new web browser. I really like the fact that it fixes some random web page open calls to open with it instead of IE on a windows machine.

I do not like using beta versions(because they have some errors)
I'm using firefox v2.0.0.12 (and it is very good)
I advise you to wait until the final version released

I'm using IE8 beta now and it sucks. It doesn't render pages properly.

Good thing there is a button to emulate IE7 which works perfectly.

There was a thread @ JoeJoe 'bout that: Ie8 Not Rendering Forums Correctly (http://www.joejoe.org/forum/index.php?showtopic=14565) and they have a quickfix for it, I guess.

IE8 was so rubbish lol dont get it yet in the beta stage, the interface is much better but they added more stuff on top to clog up your view....... and like i said beta = not worthy lol, i tried to use it, but i jus got error each time i opened it and program not responding..

Firefox in general on Mac is terrible if you use the builds available on Mozilla's site. The builds optimized for your certain architecture are MUCH better. Check this link:
http://firefoxmac.furbism.com/

I build my own from source, but that site has Nightly builds of Firefox optimized for different CPUs like Intel and G4.
