Anyone running a Dedic Raptor Pro Lin 581. How do you like it? How are the speeds?


Im thinking of moving from a VPS Raptor to this.....

It's a great mid-range seedbox, if you are already used to the way ie.h run their ship, then you will be happy with a 581 over a VPS.

Boxes are shared, looks to be about 3 per line, but if you get the right mix you can max up & down (not at the same time though), and easily do 3-4TB per month for as long as you have it.

If you are taking the basic package, I would run with a nix setup, many threads round here will back that up.

It's a dedi box, not a dedi line, I cornered Max into admitting they are shared lines, but they are unlimited BW no matter how much you use.

LW, SL, LT & OVH amongst others run dedi boxes on dedi lines, but you pay for them and can be limited BW.

It's all down to the money, the more you pay - the better the box.

Hmmmm maybe I shouldnt get it then....i was unhappy that at most my raptor vps only gave me like 1.2-1.5mb at the most upload on good torrents

Prob cos you ran with Windoze.

You go with what you can afford, the 581 over the long term offers great value for money, and you can use it and max it from day 1 of the month to the last day of the month.

You pays your money, you makes your choice.

You will get 3-5MB all day long, you can even max it, or get 7-8MB easy, on very good torrents for as long as there are good leecher/seeder ratios.

I keep saying, it is a very good mid-range box, in fact prob the best mid-range box there is.

Thers no such thing as unlimted bw.
Its called shared unmeterd.
If you wanted a 100mbit line witch wasnt shared ud be paying at least 700 a month and thats cheap.

yeah, for unlim dedic 100mbit they ask 700 euro for it

but i have 2x100mbit shared for 20 euro by promotion and feel happy :))))
