This never used to happen, but now every time I try to download something, I get a red X and "Error: path not found." in the status column. This happened ever since I right clicked one of my torrents, clicked "Advanced", then clicked "set download location" and changed my download location. Could someone help me fix this?

Go to: C:\Documments and Settings\USER\Application Data\

there is a folder named "uTorrent", rename it to "Utorrent_temp" or something else, then open uTorrent again and try to download again.

I don't think I can do that because I am in linux.

Can't you just change your download location to what it was before. It seems to me you know what messed it up so just do everything you did except backwards right?Or just make a new folder somewhere like the desktop or even better a separate hard drive and name the folder torrents. Then set the download location to that folder. And copy and paste all your current active torrents to that folder then fix there location links.

I only changed the download location for one torrent and then everything else got messed up. Also, I'm using uTorrent on a linux seedbox, if I change the directory to dowload files to, I will not have access to my files via ftp.

That does not seem to work.
