1. Apocalypto was amazing
2. Casino Royale - best Bond film ever!!
3. Transformers - I didn't have very high expectations for it, but really enjoyed it!

Indeed Into the Wild is a beautiful, moving film. Other recent favorites of mine are The Shawshank Redemption, Eastern Promises, Shoot 'em Up, There Will Be Blood and No Country for Old Men (2008 Oscar winner for best picture).
