Downloading the first part of Colour of Magic now.

I'm sure it'll be available to download in a few days.

I'm also sure that David Jason will be pure shite as Rincewind.

meh.

Mr JP Fugley

Or I could be downloading it now. Either way works for me.

My Step-pops is meant to be recording it for me, but he's a cider drinking fewl. I should call him to see if he's awake or something else really.

David Jason was win at Albert. Eric Idle would have been first choice as Rincewind in my head. Although, Rincewind is shite so I guess David Jason is a better choice all in all.

Nicholas Lyndhurst would have been my choice.

Someone tall and skinny at any rate.

Yeah, I guess he's dippit/crap enough.

If they fuck about like this with the casting of Nanny Ogg's character I'll be so hella pissed off.

Mr JP Fugley

Agreed, Nanny Ogg is way to important to arse about with.

Shut it Mulder.

I'd cast my Nana Mckay. She's a dirty ole hag, fer sure.

She gets excited about traffic lights flashing, ffs.

It was OK and part two looks like it will really get into into the swing of things. Jason was fine as Rincewind, although I would have thought Nigel Planer would have been a more obvious choice. He is in the prog as a different character.

I am not entirely convinced by the idea of casting a Merkin as Twoflower  Twoflower is so a Japanese or Chinese tourist. I am not convinced some of the jokes work without that connection.

I think the problem may be that Planer played an inept Wizard in the Sky rendition of Hogfather.

Twoflower as an American? That's just wrong!
Did Pratchett have a say in the casting?

Still can't wait to see it though. Hogfather was the bollocks.

I've downloads a divx version and a HD version of the first part. Hopefully I'll get the same for the 2nd part.

An American Twoflowers is indeed a bad thing. However Moss thing as Ford Prefect wasn't as woeful as I expected.

It was good - some nice touches. Fry up was good too :01:

I watched the feature length Stargate too which was cool - although the replicators annoy me a bit - wee meccano bastards!

The wifey liked it though. :smilie4:

:lol::earl: wee meccano bastards.

In other news, another Stargate Special is being made. Jack O'Neil and Ba'al to feature in it. Described as more of a "romp".
