why does not kg open its doors, it seems to have a lot of torrents, which are inactive i suspect this is due to only have about 10,000 members which roughly about 30,000 torrents to seed/leech. but why doesnt it open its doors for open reg?

PU gets one invite every week or month? I can't remember. But yes its "open" but not free signups

Yeah, invites are out there, you just gotta ask nicely ;)

Plus, its easier to keep out all the bad apples that way.

kg forces you to seed movies for a ridiculous amount of time, because there are very few leechers on some movies. Also, the bonus system is a joke. I've been seeding for months and I've gotten like 5 or 10 megs free, which is pretty lame. I think that itd be a very bad idea to open doors without invites because there would be a massive amount of hit and runners and it wouldn't help the site at all... however increasing active users would be nice

I've never been unable to get a prompt reseed at KG personally. But some more members would definitely be good along with a higher profile.

Everything you stated is completely true. It is VERY hard for me to seed there. I've been seeding for months, and just can't get my ratio up like I have on every other site I belong to. And the bonus system does suck.

They need a lot more members. It's a great tracker, just hard to get by.

lol, the bonus system doesnt suck.. its true that its kind of hard to seed there but you have accordingly low ratio requirements..
i think if the bonus system would be different, there wouldnt be so many seeded torrents..
besides you can always upload torrents if you fulfill the minimum requirements ;)

Yeah, the bonus system works just fine for me. I've only ul around 18gbs there and have about 3 gigs worth of seed bonus.

there are many people who like kg because they offer a nice variety of rare and fine movies.

maybe more invites shud be given, as it cud be a very very good tracker, atm its prob a good tracker, unless the speeds are fast when there only a few seeders otherwise it shud open up for like a day or so.

It's not always important how fast you download or how BIG ratio you can make in a few days.
If something is special you can wait a few hours and you really don't care if your ratio is under 1

kg is in my top five sites.

KG opening up is completely unnecessary.

The only people who really suffer on KG are the impatient ones who can't stand a movie downloading for longer than 10 minutes.

Anyways, there are plenty of invites out there.

KG is an excellent site when it comes to the quality and quantity of what it offers. I love specialty trackers like that.

just go onto the IRC channel and prove that you're able to be a contributing member of the KG community. if you have an appreciation for offbeat/underground cinema and have some experience with private trackers they should let you in (that is unless you just find someone with an invite.. as for me im not a PU+ yet).
